Marcella Kumer

Marcella has been with us since the beginning of time and is one of three amazing moms joining us from Arizona. (Janine, Marcella and Sandra) Marcella’s poetry and short stories are spiritual, transcendental and truly moving. We love reading her work and are blessed to have her with us.

“I am studying very hard at Pima College for my degree in Social Work/ Drug Disorders. I hope to attend the U of A in Tucson to receive my degree in Creative Writing. I have two birth children and a foster son. I have three beautiful granddaughters – age 10 months, 8 years old, 5 years old.

My father Kenny, my brother Pat, and my Aunt Betty all live in Canton. I miss them all the time.

After classes I come home to my husband Mark and my three dogs. I write stories, poems and lift weights. I am also a fan of horror movies and animal shows.

I love writing for Screamin Mama’s. It has opened many doors for me.”
